Elizabeth Scott Community Inc.

The family owned and operated Elizabeth Scott Community offers a continuum of care for residents including Independent Living, two levels of Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Skilled Rehabilitation – all on a single campus. Elizabeth Scott Community was founded in 1949. The facility, our third- and fourth-generation owners work in our facilities every day. They provide a daily example of caring for our residents and staff.

Independent Living
We use a consistent staffing philosophy and assign the same nurses and nurse assistants to a specific area. This allows staff members to get to know each resident and their overall health.

Assisted Living I
For individuals able to move about without assistance and enjoy their independence.

Assisted Living II
For people requiring some level of personal care, assistance with medications and moving about, and who require special diets. Some residents also need assist due to difficulties with memory loss such as dementia/alzhiemers.

Skilled Nursing
For those unable to care for themselves and who require licensed nursing care.

Skilled Rehabilitation
For individuals with a physician’s order specifying physical, occupational, or speech therapy. Typically needed after hospitalization for an injury or illness. We opened our state-of-the-art Skilled Rehabilitation Center in September of 2015.

Respite Care
Allows a loved one to stay at Elizabeth Scott while caregivers take time off.
